SILEX campaign in the home stretch

Preparations for the SILEX campaign, which start on July 15, are in their final stages. SAFIRE and the laboratories have installed their instruments on board the aircraft and the final ground tests are underway. Two test flights are scheduled for July 9 and 10. On completion of these tests, the aircraft will be ready to fly for the first flight from July 15. Off-line gas and aerosol analysis instruments are also installed in SAFIRE’s labs.
